Bardo Status Update: Dispute Timeline, Web Development, and Play Availability

Published: July 1, 2026

The formal dispute between TypexAI, Google Ireland Ltd., and ADROIT may take time to move forward. Under the procedure, the process may continue for up to 90 days, depending on the responses, review, and further communication between the parties.

Where permitted, TypexAI will publish formal updates regarding the dispute and any significant developments.

TypexAI will continue communicating with all relevant parties regarding the restoration of Bardo's availability on Google Play. Our goal remains clear: to make Bardo accessible to all users again through Google Play, while also ensuring that the situation is handled transparently, proportionately, and in accordance with the applicable procedures.

At the same time, our focus is shifting toward Bardo Web. One of its key priorities will be supporting the transfer of notes from Bardo Android to the web version, so users can continue accessing and managing their data outside the Google Play distribution channel.

Bardo 1.1 was originally scheduled for release in late June. Due to the current Google Play situation, the release date is now uncertain.

Bardo Web is planned for release in mid-to-late July.

Current users can continue using Bardo 1.0.1 Stable Android as usual. However, new Bardo Plus subscriptions are currently unavailable through Google Play.
