Bardo for Android Is on Hold Indefinitely

Together with Google, we have decided to leave Bardo for Android on hold indefinitely.

Bardo for Android remains installed on the devices of around 36,000 users, who can continue using the app. However, subscription-based Bardo Plus features are no longer available.

Due to the block, Bardo cannot receive new users, updates cannot be released, and the Android version can no longer generate revenue.

We have now suspended further discussions with Google regarding Bardo for Android. Together with Google, ADROIT, and other companies and organizations involved in the process, we have decided to leave the Android version in its current unresolved state.

We believe Google’s response was disproportionate.

Bardo was not blocked because of malware, harmful content, or violations within the app itself. Despite this, the decision affected tens of thousands of users and left us without the ability to update, monetize, or transfer the app.

Bardo for Android will undoubtedly remain an important part of TypexAI’s history. It was the platform on which Bardo first grew, reached tens of thousands of users, and became the project it is today.

Our focus is now fully shifting to Bardo Web, which will become the main Bardo platform within TypexAI. We also plan to bring Bardo to iOS in the future.
