Important Update Regarding OpenAI API in Bardo

At TypexAI, our commitment is to provide our users with reliable, transparent, and forward-thinking technology. In line with this principle, we have made the decision to discontinue support for the OpenAI API within our Bardo application, effective April 19, 2026.

This decision comes in light of ongoing legal and transparency concerns surrounding OpenAI. We believe in the importance of working with partners who are fully open and align with our values. Recent events have led us to conclude that we can no longer place our trust in OpenAI's ecosystem.

Our data shows that the vast majority of our users prefer the performance and integration of Google's Gemini models. Therefore, we will be focusing our development efforts exclusively on enhancing the Gemini experience within Bardo, ensuring a more stable and powerful platform for all users.

We are exploring the possibility of integrating OpenRouter to provide a wider range of models in the future. However, should we proceed with this integration, it will not include access to OpenAI models such as ChatGPT.
